Each month, GRAPE honors a deserving Grand Rapids professional who exemplifies Leadership, Excellence, And Development (LEAD) within their field.
Selection
LEAD award recipients are chosen by the GRAPE Excellence Review Committee, a group of highly distinguished professionals within the quality assurance field. Awards are giving based on the month’s program theme (human resources, public relations, legal services.).
Recognition
LEAD award winners receive recognition at GRAPE’s annual “What is Excellence?” event, free GRAPE admission for a year, a signed certificate of excellence, recognition on GRAPE’s website and recognition on GRAPE’s social media.
Award Criteria
At present, GRAPE presents three categories of LEAD awards: Distinguished Leadership, Young Leadership, and Community Service. For these awards, candidates must be Grand Rapids area residents and be accomplished within their profession. LinkedIn recommendations are highly relevant in the ultimate selection. Young Leadership Awards are limited to nominees 35 years and younger. Community Service Award nominees should have extensive evidence of volunteer service.
